Check JAMB Result Online
Candidates can also view their UTME results through the JAMB online portal. To check results this way, go to the e-Facility platform on the JAMB website (www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility).
On this portal, login using the same email address and password that were used to create your JAMB profile. Once logged in, you will be able to access your exam result as well as other information associated with your JAMB registration account.
Checking results online allows students to view their scores quickly and conveniently. As long as the same credentials used during registration are entered, candidates can securely access UTME performance data and proceed with the next steps in the admission process.
After logging into your JAMB profile and accessing your result, the next step is to print out a copy for your records. To do this, simply select the “Print Result” option that is available.
When you click on this, your UTME result will automatically download as a PDF file. This PDF will be saved directly to the device you are using – whether that be a phone, laptop, or desktop computer.
Having this printed or digitally saved copy of your official UTME result can be useful for your records and any admissions processing needs. The PDF contains your full exam details and scores, which you may need to submit during your institution application process.
Note: You may receive other responses alongside your actual result.
- “THIS PHONE NUMBER WAS NOT USED FOR REGISTRATION” indicates you are trying to check your result with a number that differs from your registration number.
- “RESULT WITHHELD” means your result is being withheld pending review due to potential exam violations or technical issues.
- “RESULT WITHHELD PENDING…” means your result is on hold until you provide additional clarification or documents requested by the board.
- “CANDIDATE ABSENT” suggests you did not sit for the actual exam administration.
By using your registered number, you can quickly access your UTME results via text message. But be aware that anything other than your score may require follow up with the board.
