JAMB UTME Marking Scheme
The JAMB UTME marking scheme is a system used to grade the performance of candidates in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Bear in mind! Total marks for UTME Use of English: Section A (45 marks), Section B (45 marks), Section C (10 marks) = 100 marks.
Note that each of these questions for other subjects carries a score of 2.5. So, when you multiply 2.5 marks per question by 40 questions, you get a total of 100 marks.
In other words, the combined marks for the other three UTME subjects amount to 300 marks (40 x 2.5 + 40 x 2.5 + 40 x 2.5), and when you add the 100 marks for English, it totals 400 marks.
